A wonderfully blended presentation of political and social history provides students the opportunity to consider various trends as well as individual stories about the various voices of the American past. This text boasts the use of various intriguing features which enhance the student learning experience including over 775 illustrations as well as 180 full-color maps which aid in student knowledge of geographic locations. Other special text features that aid with the instructional process are the 'Historical Questions,' 'The Promise of Technology,' and 'Beyond America's Borders' components.
