Therefore this textbook offers management students on all levels a look into the foundational principles and theories behind the art of bargaining and negotiation all the while exploring the makings of interpersonal and inter-group conflict and strategies for resolution. The leading expert on this team of writers is Roy J. Lewicki. Currently serving as the Dean's Distinguished Teaching Professor at the Max M. Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University, he has won several teaching awards at Ohio State, and held visiting faculty positions at Dartmouth College and Georgetown University. Lewicki is no stranger to the writing realm with experience authoring or editing 24 books, as well as numerous research articles. A second contributor to Negotiation: Readings, Exercises, and Cases is that of Bruce Barry. He has served as past-president of the International Association for Conflict Management and a past chair of the Academy of Management Conflict Management Division. Barry currently teaches as a professor of Management and Sociology at Vanderbilt University. David M. Saunders adds his experience to the mix on this textbook as well. Currently he is Dean of the Faculty of Management at the Queen's University in Ontario, Canada. Saunders is also the winner of a distinguished teacher award and co-developed the McGill Negotiation Simulator, a computer-based interactive video simulation of negotiation. He has also co-authored several books and articles on negotiation, conflict resolution, employee voice and organizational justice.
