The leading expert on this writing team is that of William M. Pride. Receiving his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University, he currently serves as professor of marketing at Texas A&M University. Pride is a seasoned writer with articles appearing in a number of academic journals, including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Academy Market Science, and Journal of Advertising. The second contributor to the work on Marketing 2012 is O.C. Ferrell. Receiving his Ph.D. in marketing from Louisiana State University, he currently serves as Professor of Marketing and Creative Enterprise Scholar at Anderson Schools of Management, University of New Mexico.
