Gary Dessler received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Bernard M. Baruch School of Business of the City University of New York. He currently serves as a Professor of Business at Florida International University's College of Business Administration in Miami, Florida. Dessler is also a renowned writer and researcher with several books in publications including Essentials of Management , Essentials of Human Resource Management, Management: Leading People and Organizations in the 21st Century, and Human Resource Management. Dessler strategically organizes the concepts and strategies of Human Resource Management (12th Edition) across four sections and 18 chapters.
