African American

Students of African American studies need not worry about paying for over-priced textbooks anymore – renting textbooks is an option! African American textbooks – for example Speech, Language, Learning, and the African American Child by [Jean E. Van Keulen, Gloria Toliver Weddington, Charles E. DeBose], and Reel Racism: Confronting Hollywood's Construction of Afro-American Culture (Thinking Through Cinema) by [Vincent F. Rocchio] – are often some of the most frequently updated books by Publishing companies. The field of African American is constantly changing, and new editions can come yearly and at a huge cost to students who continually buy new books. So why buy when you can rent cheap textbooks? There are plenty of African American books to rent – BookRenter has of them all!

Used book sales can be a cheap option as well, but often can be more expensive than textbook rentals. However, there are very few return policies with used books, and especially when taking African American classes, buying a used book can be dangerous and costly.
