English Language Learner (ELL) students are required to do Writer's Workshop as part of their literacy development in many parts of the United States. How can ELL students with level 1 (little or no English skills) write when they do not have oral skills yet? This work provides some insights and ideas through a curriculum re-design as to what can be done in Kindergarten and primary grade levels in general to help develop and strengthen oral skills while doing writing. This re-design should help struggling literacy teachers, ELL teachers, and educational assistants working with students with little or no English to infuse oral development opportunities as much as possible while doing Writer's Workshop.
Since launching the first textbook rental site in 2006, BookRenter has never wavered from our mission to make education more affordable for all students. Every day, we focus on delivering students the best prices, the most flexible options, and the best service on earth. On March 13, 2012 BookRenter.com, Inc. formally changed its name to Rafter, Inc. We are still the same company and the same people, only our corporate name has changed.
