5 Healthy Meals for College Students – Brought to You by BookRenter™ and ZocDoc

By Adrienne Welch Posted on October 23

Eating well while you’re in school can be a challenge for a myriad of reasons: it’s expensive (I’m looking at you, Whole Foods, you temptress); there aren’t enough hours in the day for extensive prep time; and dorm rooms don’t usually have the necessary appliances to create that gourmet experience.

That’s why BookRenter partnered with ZocDoc to create five healthy, quick meals on the cheap to add variety and protein to your daily food consumption.

    MEET OUR RENTED LIFE STUDENT

    David Levitz, University of Minnesota
Sophomore, Acting and Journalism Double Major

David is a Midwesterner at heart, growing up in Ohio and now attends the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. His favorite superhero franchise is Marvel's X-Men. He whole-heartedly believes that Buffy: The Vampire Slayer is the single best TV show to have ever been produced. His current TV obsessions include Doctor Who and Glee.

When not watching TV, David likes to bike around Minneapolis in search of cool art fairs or events. He loves discovering new musical artists and attends their concerts. And, of course, David loves to hang out with friends and make new ones through the wonderful people-meeting environment that is college.

College students can no longer afford life at full price. But we CAN afford The Rented Life. Follow our star pupil as they attempt to rent, bargain and borrow their way through college this Fall semester. It’s life on the cheap and cheerful…the bartered and the borrowed… #TheRentedLife
