It has retained its friendly approach, encouraging readers to make better choices when it comes to health and nutrition. The book features additional information about vitamins and minerals via ‘Visual Summary Tables,' which help students easily locate and identify the most important aspects of nutrients. It tackles the scientific aspect of nutrition, relating it to dietary habits so that readers can easily distinguish between high and low quality nutrient sources and dispel nutritional myths shown by the media.
