Alex was so excited to go shopping with Mama to the huge supermarket in the city. His friend Dylan told him about the new shopping carts that are built like trucks which kids can ride in while their parents shopped. Dylan also told him how much fun he had. Alex has a lot of fun too but he leaves the truck at one point without Mama noticing and loses her somewhere in the big store. He knows he needs help to find her and finally figures out a way to do it.
Lost in the Supermarket portrays how scared Alex becomes when he loses his Mama and how he used a little common sense to find her. Many children could relate to this story. It is written for the 5-7 age range.
