Job Qualifications

Experience with Linux or Unix systems
Experience with HTML
Experience with object oriented design and web applications
Intermediate Ruby knowledge or above is required (beginner level Ruby with experience in other OO languages is also acceptable)
Experience in Ruby on Rails, REST, SOAP, MySQL, Subversion, and a passion for testing are all bonus points!
Mac OSX users preferred

Job Description

BookRenter is looking for motivated Ruby / Ruby on Rails programmers. If you love using the concise, powerful Ruby language, working in a small group environment, and making a difference in your company, you are just the engineer we are looking for! Your job responsibilities will include the following:

Develop backend applications in Ruby that interact with DBs and webservices
Design, document, and implement Ruby scripts and RoR web applications
Test all projects you work on through a combination of performing exploratory tests and writing automated tests
