The leading expert on this team of writers is that of the late Tracy D. Terrell. Receiving his Ph.D. in Spanish linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, he was a seasoned writer publishing extensively in the areas of Spanish dialectology, specializing in the sociolinguistics of Caribbean Spanish. The second contributor to the work on Dos mundos: En breve: Comunicacion y Comunidad is Magdalena Andrade. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine and currently serves as an instructor at Irvine Valley College. Andrade has also taught elementary and intermediate Spanish at both San Diego State and the University of California, Irvine, where she also taught Spanish for Heritage Speakers and Humanities Core Courses. Another member of this team is that of Jeanne Egasse. Receiving her bachelors and masters in Spanish linguistics from the University of California, Irvine, she currently serves as an instructor of Spanish and coordinates the Spanish language Program at Irvine Valley College. Egasse has also co-authored several other books including Cocina y comidas hispanas and Mundos de fantasia: Fabulas, cuentos de hadas y leyendas. The fourth contributing member of this team is ElÃ_as Miguel Muoz. Receiving his Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of California, Irvine, he is a Cuban American poet and prose writer. Muoz has published several books including Viajes fantásticos, Ladrón de la mente, and Isla de luz, titles in the Storyteller's Series by McGraw-Hill
