Nearly all entries in bookkeeping are simple in character, and this fact is emphasized in the exercises and sets herein given. To cultivate self-reliance many reviews are included. These reviews are so arranged that the student does the work without assistance. The chief object is to enable him to master the principles of bookkeeping, and then the application of these principles to the various problems that may arise in business is not difficult. Business forms are provided for a number of practice sets.
